Information Sharing E-Learning Course
(length: approx. 90 minutes)Description
This course aims to advise practitioners on when and how they can share information legally and professionally by summarising key points to remember on sharing information about children and young people, offering guidance on Information Sharing and providing further information to help inform decisions on Information Sharing.
This course is designed to raise awareness and promote confidence of practitioners working in a range of agencies in sharing information.
Learning Outcomes
Understand the content of the Information Sharing Protocol in relation to the Children Act 2004 and its impact on practitioners.
Understand the legislative framework and process for information sharing.
Understand roles and duties in relation to information sharing to promote consistency of practice.
Understand the roles and duties of partner agencies and how to work effectively together.
