Multi-agency information sharing

Course Description

This course is designed to raise awareness and promote confidence of practitioners working in a range of agencies in sharing information.

Who should attend?

All staff who provide services to children and their families and would benefit from knowing the legal regulations of Information Sharing. It is essential those attending the CAF Completers course also attend the Information Sharing, which should happen before the CAF training, if possible.

Learning outcomes

  • understand the content of the Information Sharing Protocol in relation to the Children Act 2004 and its impact on practitioners
  • understand the legislative framework and process for information sharing
  • understand roles and duties in relation to information sharing to promote consistency of practice
  • understand the roles and duties of partner agencies and how to work effectively together

These courses are usually either (9:15am to 1:00 pm) or (1:15pm to 5:00pm). Very occasionally an evening course (6:15pm to 9:30pm) may be arranged
