Something to do

If you're sitting at home twiddling your thumbs, why not take a look at what's on in your local area. Never be bored again!
You could get involved in a community project. For example, young people at the Wecock Activity Group have been taking a lead in working with ‘Dot-to Dot’ creative artists.
They are learning new skills around photography and are out-and-about walking routes and noting down times to the various locations in the area. This will be their contribution to the community map which will be delivered to every household and will be included in a welcome pack. The map gives directions to places of importance and support groups to local people.
Just another way in which young people are becoming involved in citizenship at every opportunity, supported by youth workers from the Youth Service, Children’s Services.
